Self-Study Support

👂️Listening materials

Twice a month, I will send listening materials. The content is still being planned, but I’m thinking of a newsletter-style format that can be enjoyed regardless of level (everyday expressions, culture, news, etc.).

📝Writing feedback

Once every two weeks, I will share writing prompts by level. You can submit your writing separately from lessons, and I will give feedback.

Writing is very helpful for building a foundation for speaking and listening, and it also helps expand vocabulary and deepen your understanding of grammar.

In the future, I’d also like to create an environment where participants can learn by seeing each other’s writing.

📚️Reading materials

Once or twice a month, I will share level-based reading materials that are easy to enjoy.

Reading a lot ▶ you accumulate patterns and expressions ▶ phrases come to mind more naturally when speaking.

If you can read quickly, you can often handle fast listening as well!

☕Open Office Hour

I’m going to start trying out an Open Office Hour, where you can drop in without a reservation and ask questions freely!

It’s especially for those whose schedules are unpredictable and find it hard to attend regular lessons, or for anyone who wants to clear up questions that come up during self-study.

Why I started this community

Since I started having lessons with all of you, I’ve been reminded every day of how interesting and enjoyable language learning can be.

At the same time, I’ve also come to feel that, for various reasons, it can be difficult for some people to continue learning—whether because of busy schedules, health, or other circumstances.

  • Taking individual or group lessons while using self-study materials
  • Not being able to take lessons frequently, but still wanting ongoing learning support
  • Wanting to focus on communication practice

I’d like to create something flexible enough to respond to these different needs—so that language learning can become something we can all enjoy together, not just something for a limited group of people.

(In the future, I’d also love to try things like a book club type of activities.)

Ideas, questions, and requests are always welcome! I’m looking forward to seeing you again in lessons 🙂
